We take great care in assessing the safety of the products we place on the market and comply with all European and international regulations. These requirements are taken into account during product development. Approval and qualification tests are first carried out internally before being confirmed by independent external laboratories. Our machines conform to the most stringent and respected environmental standards in the world, including RoHS, DEEE, EuP, and REACH.
Quadient is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, suppliers, business contacts, employees, job applicants, and other third parties. We understand the importance of data security for our partners. We manage everyday thousands of data entrusted to us by our customers.
Leverage technology to consistently innovate and improve our portfolio of solutions
Innovation is at the heart of Quadient’s strategy. In 2023, the Company devoted 5.9% of its revenue to research and development. Among the leading trends expected to have the largest impact in the coming years are artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and machine learning technology.
Regular user conferences and workshops enable Quadient to present new technologies and updates to its customers and partners and discuss their needs and expectations. The Company is the owner of its trademarks and has 220 families of patents published. Quadient registered four patents in 2023.
Provide accessible products and services
Quadient aims to create products usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of their ability. The concept of accessible design in Quadient software seeks to ensure both unassisted access and access by assistive technologies.
Quadient uses the benchmarks set by accessibility standards, like for example ADA compliance, Section 508 or EN 301 549. They consist of best practices and principles for making information technologies more accessible for people with disabilities.
While developing its solutions the Company has implemented fundamental accessibility features. Quadient aims to have its components presentable to users with disabilities so they can understand and operate them, for example with text to speech features, braille and easy access for mobility limited users.
Design cutting-edge sustainable solutions
Quadient introduced an Life Cycle Assessment and ecodesign program to reduce the impact of its products throughout their life cycle. This program is now an integral part of the corporate strategy. It consists on conducting Life Cycle Assessment for our products and solutions in order to target the environmental hotspot which help us to reduce our carbonfootprint and our costumers impact.The Company gives careful consideration to energy efficiency, use of hazardous substances, longevity, recyclability, modularity and the upgradability of its products.
